Ananke, the Greek goddess of Fate and Inevitability, is the inspiration for this small, family owned company. Not satisfied with the grind of a traditional job, Jonathan yearned for the freedom of making his own way and spending time with his family on his terms.

Jonathan has been beekeeping since he was a child and got into mead making after having a surplus of honey and not knowing what to do with it. His desire to learn, perfect and create mixed with his analytical mind blazed the way to craft mead. Jonathan lives with his wife Sarah and their 4 children in White Salmon, WA.
